Testimonials

I have the opportunity to work with highly-motivated and hard-working individuals who work outside their “job description” to develop themselves in unique areas and accomplish whatever goals are necessary to ensure the best outcome possible. Otsuka is always very supportive and provides the resources to train and develop current talent to become Otsuka’s future leaders.

My favorite thing about Otsuka is that I can see how I contribute to a growing organization. I love to achieve and win with sales and see how this rolls up to organizational success and growth. I like that I know people across Otsuka in many functions and understand how we all contribute to the health and success of Otsuka. I also like having exposure to people at many levels and the ability to be involved with projects that influence many parts of the organization. At Otsuka, I feel I have a voice and that I can make an impact.

My favorite thing about working at Otsuka is the people. The people who work at Otsuka are some of the most diverse individuals I’ve ever interacted with in a work environment. The enthusiasm that everyone seems to have about their work here at Otsuka is infectious. Everyone is eager to help each other and share best practices. Having a “can-do” attitude seems to be a pre-requisite for employment at Otsuka. When I am able to help my physicians understand a topic concerning one of our products, that is the most rewarding part of my job; and luckily I get to do it everyday!

Otsuka has provided me with the opportunity to manage people and projects in a fast-paced entrepreneurial setting. I can engage in healthy debate, ultimately resulting in better ideas.  Everyone contributes; my direct reports have been more peers than subordinates.

The concept of Jissho-Shugi is unique to Otsuka. Jissho-Shugi allows an individual to pursue increased accountability through demonstration of delivering results.  This allows for an individual to manage his own career and take responsibility for his own career.
